The ShanghAI Lectures on Artificial Intelligence taught by Prof. Rolf Pfeifer of the Zurich AI Lab have started. The main textbook is «how the body shapes the way we think». The main idea, defended by Rodney Brooks, is to recognize the effect of the body and of the physical environment on the mind and on the ways we think, evolve and adapt. His synthetic psychology approach consists in building robots and making thought experiments to understand intelligence.
