{"id":7,"date":"2007-11-30T10:55:56","date_gmt":"2007-11-30T18:55:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lev.ch\/news\/?p=7"},"modified":"2017-12-28T17:05:57","modified_gmt":"2017-12-29T01:05:57","slug":"lecture-at-camerimage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.lev.ch\/news\/?p=7","title":{"rendered":"Lecture at Camerimage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was invited by <a href=\"http:\/\/eacea.ec.europa.eu\/media\/index_fr.php\">MEDIA<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wrocenter.pl\/en\">WRO<\/a> to give a lecture at a conference entitled \u00ab <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lev.ch\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/11\/ci_program_final_0.pdf\">Soft Machines and the Cinematographic Imaginary<\/a> \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>The conference took place during the prestigious <a href=\"https:\/\/camerimage.pl\/\">Camerimage<\/a> festival, in \u0141\u00f8d\u017a, in the presence of great figures of today&#8217;s cinema like Roman Polanski and Harris Savides (cinematographer for most of Gus Van Sant&#8217;s films), under the patronage of David Lynch, who has his recording studios in that region of Poland.<\/p>\n<p>My contribution to the <a href=\"http:\/\/wrocenter.pl\/en\/widok\/\">WRO Media Art Reader<\/a> (which I could not finish in time when the book went to press) has been made available\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lev.ch\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/WRO_reader_2008v8.pdf\">on this web site<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was invited by MEDIA and WRO to give a lecture at a conference entitled \u00ab Soft Machines and the Cinematographic Imaginary \u00bb.
